A portion of the ticket sales will benefit Careity Foundation, an organization that provides services and early detection for economically challenged women and men cancer patients and relief for children with devastating diseases.
The auction on Sat, June 11, includes some very special items. Notable among the lots are Annie Oakley's custome shotgun (estimate $150,000-$185,000) along with her traveling trunk (estimates $15,000-$25,000), Texas Ranger Hall of Fame honoree Clint People's Remington Rifle (estimate $5,000-$6,000) and Dallas Cowboy's former owner Bum Bright's Bohlin saddle (estimate $35,000-$45,000). For movie buffs interested in Hollywood cowboys the auction offers the barber chair where Wyatt got his shaver in the iconic scene from My Darling Clementine, the derringer used by Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson in Maverick, and a collection of over 100 autographed photos of stars such as Clint Eastwood and Roy Rogers.
