Fans can skip crowding around the TV and watch on the big screen HBO’s “Deadwood: The Movie” IN the REAL Historic Deadwood. Timed with the network premiere on May 31, there will be a screening of the film in partnership with HBO at the Deadwood Mountain Grand in Deadwood, SD.
The screening offers fans the chance to walk in the footsteps of the show's beloved characters (who were also real Wild West legends like Seth Bullock, Al Swearengen, Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickock).
Inspired by Deadwood’s glory days as a legendary gold rush town as portrayed in the show, the event will feature themed cocktails, brews and bites, an old-time photo booth and re-enactments of historically-based show scenes.
Want an even richer experience? In celebration of the movie premiere, the just-launched “Deadwood: Heroes & Villains” customizable package (bookable here) includes experiences that make fans feel like they’re walking on set.
