The husband-and-wife duo of Maggie McClure and Shane Henry share words and music.
You may not be familiar with their names, but chances are good that you’ve heard their music.
The Imaginaries, the husband-and-wife duo of Maggie McClure and Shane Henry, have opened for such diverse artists as Brian Setzer, Judy Collins and John Waite in concert, and contributed songs for Hallmark Channel movies like My Christmas Love and Redemption in Cherry Springs. More recently, they wrote and produced the original soundtrack for A Cowgirl's Song, which premiered on Netflix on Aug. 21. They also made their debut as film producers and appeared in the movie alongside Cheryl Ladd, Darci Lynne and Savannah Lee May.
And today C&I is proud to premiere their music video for “Things Are Gonna Be Alright,” a song written by Shane and Grammy-winning songwriter Jeff Silbar (“Wind Beneath My Wings”). Directed by Rahul Chakraborty, the video is impressively cinematic in its storytelling while intertwining diverse plot threads — and, like the song it illuminates, delivers a universal and relevant message of hope.
